This is a portfolio site for Peter Schafrick who is still life photographer and I chose his site because I really like his work. The site as a whole is very clean, easy to navigate and straight to the point. The navigation runs along the bottom and is simple to use he has high res images that load fast and make viewing the site much easier. The flash navigation bar at the bottom runs very smoothly the scrolling isn't to fast or to slow its moves at a good pace with your courser which is very nice.

I chose the Surface 51 website because it is a very fun and creative site without being way over the top and hard to navigate.
One thing I really think that really works on this website is the is the type. They have quotes that scroll though the middle of the site which is something that catch your attention and make you want to read the quotes. I also like the how the type animates on all the tabs it make the site fun.

Another reason I chose this site is because of its design and layout. The design of the site is very easy to navigate and move from one section to the next and the great thing is that you don't have to leave the main page. Another great thing is there isn't any scrolling up and down which is something that is a personal preference of mine. I really think that the way they have set up the projects page is very easy to use. It is just thumbnails of all their work that when you roll over them text pops up they tells a little bit about the project. Then if you click on the thumbnail it take you to a projects page that you can see larger photos of the work and different layouts of the piece.
